Leveda Standifer, Owner, Instructor

Ms. Standifer’s career began over 20 years ago as a Certified Nurse Assistant in 1997. Afterward, she went further to earn her Surgical Technology Diploma in 2004. She then went on to earn her Associate Registered Nurse Degree from Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2007 and lastly, went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing Administration in 2010 from the University of Mary.

Her background is in Medical-Surgical Nursing (7 years), caring for patients with Tracheostomy tubes and ventilatory support (2.5 years) in Specialty Hospital, and caring for patients in the Women’s Bariatric Unit (1 year). Ms. Standifer also has extensive experience in Supervising and Management in healthcare. 

Ms. Standifer owns and operate ACL Medical Training since December 2014 and opened its doors to the public in March 2015. Currently, she is an instructor at ACL and teaches Nurse Aide Training, Qualified Medication Aide Training, and Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR.

Laura Alfrey, Admission Coordinator

Laura Alfrey currently serves as the campus Admissions Coordinator who recruits and communicates with potential new students from a variety of venues. Ms. Alfrey sought additional training in Healthcare Administration from September 2015 to May 2019 at National American University.

  • This school is a very QUICK option (4 weeks) and very reasonable from what I researched. (Apx $1000). You will need to plan to spend time outside of class on homework and reviewing on your own for the state test. Miss Levita is a passionate teacher who will make you want to cry at times and make you laugh at others. The building location is easy to get to from I-69. She offers a little kitchenette area for you to use on lunch break. One of my favorite things was that she opened the lab area to practice anytime it was available during business hours!

  • This was really a great experience! I loved everything from my instructor Leveda Standifer to my fellow classmates. One thing I loved about Ms. Leveda telling her you got it don’t stop there. You have to tell her how you got it and why that’s the correct solution. If I had the option yo choose my nursing school instructor you would be my instructor for every subject.   • Leveda was a very good instructor and I would recommend her to anyone that is wanting to become a QMA. She makes everything make sense is what she likes to say. She goes in depth on what you really need to focus on and why it is important. If you are a CNA and want to get my involved in meds go to ACL medical training and sign up for your class when she has a next available.
