ACL Medical Training provides reasonable accommodations when appropriate to individuals with disabilities, individuals observing religious practices, pregnancy or childbirth-related medical conditions, or employees who are victims of domestic violence/stalking/sex offenses. This law prohibits discrimination based on race, color, national origin (Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964), sex (Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972), disability (Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973), and age (Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, as amended by the Age Discrimination Act of 1975). Under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, OCR also has enforcement responsibilities, prohibiting state and local governments from discriminating against individuals with disabilities.
